-- most recently, right over baltimore city. one area of storms is moving away from the city and port harbor county. that was the first one to move broke -- to move through. produced upwards of a half-inch of rain. now the latest on a new area of rain and out around reisterstown and even in the city itself. this is a new area that is cropping up right over the city. there you see from woodlawn back toward the inner harbor and westward toward the southeast corner of the city, a new area a shower activity moving to the northeast as well. folks concentrated in that area are getting some rain. these are the rain totals that have occurred over the area so far. we won't show you those right now, but i can tell you that upwards of an inch of rain fell in a brief time in northern baltimore county and down toward baltimore city. that is where the flood warning is in effect until 7:45 this evening. i will have more in the forecast coming up in just of the minutes. >> we are following a developing story on the chesapeake bay. >> rescue workers are scouring the waters looking for missing and boul

valley high school. more information as it becomes available. >> baltimore city police are investigating the death of a man who died while in their custody. >> jennifer franciotti is live with the latest on this investigation. good morning. >> good morning. anthony anderson died on friday night after a confrontation with police. his granddaughter's birthday party when officers assaulteda number of family members say they witnessed the event. two detectives are telling a different story. they say they caught anderson in a drug deal. >> they observed him put what they suspected to be some type of narcotics in his mouth in an atttempt to hide them. so they placed him under arrest for that, took him into police custody, put handcuffs on him. he then started complaining of discomfort and pain. it was believed at the time that he may have ingested some of the drugs that he had and maybe was choking on them. >> police say the officers have been placed on suspension with pay pending the outcome of this investigation. more on the story coming up at 6:30. jennifer franciotti, wbal-tv 11 news. >> b

's. >> this is wbal 11 news in baltimore. >> it's 8:26. baltimore city police are investigating a shooting involving several of their own officers that happened around 10:00 p.m. on lorraine avenue. police say detectives observed an armed man who ran inside and the man drew a semi-automatic handgun, pointing it in the direction of police. the detectives have been placed on administrative duty. baltimore county police called to the 7100 block of darlington drive in parkville tee bee's bar where investigators found tavares lonell jones. he was stabbed while breaking up a fight. jones was taken to the hospital where he later died. city fire officials are trying to determine what sparked a fire that killed one person in east baltimore. this picture was provided by the baltimore city fire department. the fire happened just before 3:00 saturday in the 15000 block of holbrook street. neighbors say the victim was known in the neighborhood. >> he was a good guy. he was a real good guy. everybody loved him in the neighborhood. everybody loved him. the whole neighborhood knew him well. >> police say while sear
